Prepare yourself for the ultimate Minecraft experience
Welcome to Mystic's Monstrosity 1.12.0 in 1.20.1 version of MM, only has 700+ mods, but is way more stable. All other builds have 1000+ mods. This is a monster of a modded completion modpack. Completion means completing all achievements in the game! This features too many mods to name here.

Your PC was warned
We asked if we could, not if we should.
Spoiler: probably not for the 15K build.
v1.20.1 (700+ mods)
1000-1800 mod builds
5000-15000 mod builds
⚠️ Builds with 1000+ mods require 27GB+ RAM. 64GB storage required for all versions. SSD strongly recommended for larger builds. Your RAM sticks WILL file a restraining order.

Five steps to modded glory
Visit adoptium.net to download Temurin JDK 17 or later. Make sure to select the correct version for your operating system. During installation, allow it to set JAVA_HOME.
Download CurseForge from curseforge.com. Other supported launchers include MultiMC, Prism Launcher, and ATLauncher. CurseForge makes modpack installation easiest.
Select the version that matches your hardware capability. v1.20.1 with 700+ mods is recommended for most players. Import the downloaded zip into your launcher.
In your launcher settings, find JVM Arguments or Memory Allocation. Set minimum and maximum RAM. For v1.20.1: 8-12GB. For 1000+ mod builds: 27-32GB. Never allocate ALL your system RAM — leave 4-8GB for your OS.
First launch will take significantly longer as mods initialize. This is normal — grab a coffee. Subsequent launches will be faster. If you encounter issues, check the FAQ or join our Discord.

Questions you're too afraid to ask (but should)
Each mod loads assets, classes, and data into memory. With 1000+ mods, that adds up fast. The 15K build basically turns your PC into a space heater that occasionally renders blocks.
We strongly recommend v1.20.1 (700+ mods). It's the most stable, requires the least RAM (8GB+), and still provides an incredible modded experience. Start there and scale up when your wallet recovers from the RAM upgrade.
The v1.20.1 build? Possibly, if your laptop has decent specs and an SSD. The 5000+ mod builds? Your laptop would achieve flight from the fan speed alone. Not recommended.
Yes, but server requirements match or exceed client requirements. You'll need a beefy dedicated server with adequate RAM allocation for the mod count you're running.
Open an issue on our GitHub repository with your crash log, mod version, and a description of what happened. You can also report in our Discord support channel for faster responses.
It means the goal is to complete ALL achievements across ALL mods. This is a massive undertaking that will keep you busy for hundreds (or thousands) of hours.
Technically yes, but proceed at your own risk. Many mods have interdependencies, and removing or adding mods can break progression, cause crashes, or corrupt your world. We've carefully balanced these mod lists.
Different versions cater to different hardware capabilities and play preferences. Not everyone has 64GB of RAM, and not everyone needs 15,000 mods. We offer options so everyone can find their sweet spot of chaos.
